Dr. Andrew Caroon is a graduate of the University of Western States in Portland, OR where he earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Sports Medicine. Through his years of clinical practice, he has spent time both in the clinic and on the field with athletes across multiple sports from triathletes to rodeo cowboys.

Whether treating youth athletes, weekend warriors, or desk jockeys; Dr. Andrew understands that no two patients are the same and each deserves their own individualized approach based on their own goals. Because of this, he is constantly pursuing additional certifications and continuing education in order to better assist his patients and get them back to living pain-free, fast. Throughout treatment, he aims to keep you active through recovery, while prioritizing education and pain management strategies to help accelerate healing and prevent future episodes.

His treatment approach integrates various techniques such as joint manipulation and soft tissue release, including instrument-assisted and cupping, while focusing on movement through mobility, strengthening and rehabilitative exercise.

When not in the clinic, you may find him and his wife embracing their inner foodie at many of the fine restaurants around Vancouver. He stays active by trail running, hiking, skiing, playing basketball, and kettlebell training.

What Makes Us Different?

Traditional chiropractic care focuses on the structure of the body, particularly the spine and neck, and utilizes adjustments to correct misalignments in these structures. The original chiropractic philosophy was when the body is properly aligned and balanced, it is able to facilitate healing on its own.

While spinal manipulations have their place in the spectrum of rehabilitation, we here at Second Summit take a more comprehensive approach to care with the goal of long-term strength, flexibility, and full-body resiliency. We use techniques such as chiropractic adjustments and manual therapy to provide pain relief and allow you to begin strengthening, stretching, and maintaining your body’s physical health.

Unfortunately for all of us, there are no quick fixes or instant solutions, especially when it comes to healthcare. However, we can work together to help you feel better faster and guide you on the path to long-term results. By providing you with the tools and knowledge on how to help yourself, we hope that the day comes when you no longer need our assistance. But in the meantime, we’re here for you every step of the way.
